Frequently Asked Questions on Aircraft Charter
Can we purchase just one seat on a charter flight?
Unfortunately this is not possible. Most people charter an aircraft to enjoy their privacy and space or to conduct their company business en-route to their destination.
Is aircraft charter safe?
Yes it is. Flight crew and aircraft operators must comply with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority stringent safety and audit requirements. All flight crew hold appropriate licences to enable flight in all weather conditions.
Can we charter a plane one way?
Yes. You can have us drop you at your destination or pick you up. However, the cost will be always be charged as a round trip as the aircraft has to return to its home base.
How much baggage can we carry?
This depends on the size of the aircraft that you charter, but the common rule for small corporate jets, jet prop and piston twins would be 10 kg of soft luggage per person.
How long can the aircraft remain at our destination?
Subject to the day of charter, usually you will be charged a daily standing fee to keep the aircraft with the party. However, in some instances it is more cost effective to drop your party and collect them at a later date.
Can pets travel on private charters?
Yes. We have quite a few clients that specifically charter an aircraft to transport their pets. Where possible we encourage our clients not to place pets in cages for travel as this normally will increase the stress on pets.
Can we use aircraft charter for our corporate road show?
Yes. Many corporations utilise aircraft charter as a means for traveling to multiple destination for their corporate road show and still have the ability to be home for dinner the same evening.
Can we fly commercially to a city in Europe or the United States and charter an aircraft within those countries?
Yes. Through our partner offices located in London, New York and the Middle East, you are able to arrange all your aircraft charter needs worldwide with just one local phone call.
